T.K. Chang has practiced corporate law for over 35 years in New York City, Greenwich, Hong Kong and Beijing, including at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Coudert Brothers. He also served as the general counsel for a private equity firm in Greenwich, Connecticut that was once the 13th largest private company in the US as ranked by Forbes.
Mr. Chang has recently focused his client work on the US-China trade disputes, including Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974, the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization (CFIUS) Act of 2018 and the John McCain National Defense Authorization Act for 2019, as well as regulations relating to the Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Iran sanctions and “Specially Designated Nationals” (SDN) .
